En diciembre de 2019 han finalizado las obras de “Mejora del sistema de emisión de calor de la Casa de Cultura de Falces”, ubicada en C/ D. Eustaquio Díaz no 1.
La Casa de Cultura, que antiguamente albergaba las antiguas escuelas municipales, fue reformada totalmente entre 1990 y 1992 para convertirla en la actual Casa de Cultura y darle los usos y configuraciones que ahora conocemos. Actualmente es sede de la Asociación de Jubilados y alberga la Biblioteca Pública de Falces, además de varias salas polivalentes donde se imparten cursos de formación, se hacen reuniones, charlas, etc. El edificio a lo largo del año es utilizado por un gran número de vecinos.
El proyecto ha consistido en sustituir el antiguo emisor de calor por uno de alta eficiencia energética y zonificar la distribución de calor mediante la instalación de un sistema inteligente de termostatos y válvulas de corte en las distintas estancias, consiguiendo con ello mejorar el ahorro energético y la eficiencia energética del edificio.
La ejecución de la obra ha supuesto un total de 23.257,15 € y ha contado con una subvención de 18.605,73 € procedente de la convocatoria de ayudas para la comarca de la Ribera de Navarra de la Medida M19.02.01 Implementación de la EDLP: Promotores Públicos y Privados (Desarrollo Local Participativo- LEADER), financiada por fondos FEADER (65%) y Gobierno de Navarra (35%) del Programa de Desarrollo Rural de Navarra 2014-2020.
