El Ayuntamiento de Falces, a través de la concejalía de Educación e Igualdad, ha tomado varias medidas de conciliación para el actual inicio de curso escolar.
Entre ellas, la oferta gratuita de transporte escolar para el alumnado. En principio, el servicio se ofrecía para los niños en edad escolar usuarios del servicio de madrugadores. Sin embargo, escuchando las solicitudes de otras familias no usuarias, se ha pasado una circular entre en alumnado del colegio para ofrecer las 13 plazas libres del autobús. En la actualidad, todavía quedan dos plazas libres y gratuitas. Además, el Ayuntamiento de Falces responde, entre otros asuntos, a la preocupación que los padres y madres trasladaron a la concejalía de Educación e Igualdad ante la previsible falta de niños y el riesgo de que el servicio de guardería desapareciera. De aquella reunión, se sacaron, principalmente, dos conclusiones: que había que mejorar el servicio de la guardería en horario y que había que hacer accesible la guardería a las familias con menos recursos.
Tras analizar la situación, este Ayuntamiento tomó las siguientes decisiones:
- Trasladar el servicio de madrugadores del colegio a las instalaciones de la guardería, con la finalidad de que la guardería pudiera ampliar su horario. Ello implicaba que los niños en edad escolar que usaban el servicio necesitaban un transporte para ir al colegio.
- Asumir el coste de dicho transporte y adjudicar el servicio a la empresa local AUTOBUESES SANCHEZ SL
- Subvencionar los servicios de guardería y los de conciliación (madrugadores y comedor) en un 70%.
Con las medidas en marcha, el curso escolar ha empezado con 10 niños en la guardería, frente a los 3 del curso anterior; y hay, al menos, 6 preinscripciones más que se incorporaran a lo largo del curso. El año pasado el número máximo de niños en la guardería fue de 5.
El servicio de madrugadores se ha iniciado con las mismas cifras que el año pasado, pero con previsiones de alcanzar, según las prescripciones realizadas como mínimo los 10 niños. Al igual que el servicio de comedor, donde es previsible que el número de niños aumente a lo largo del curso. Y evidentemente, la rebaja de las cuotas con la subvención ha sido gratamente recibida por las familias.
